Bistro Tupaz…A Charming Place! (San Jose)

There is no shortage of great restaurants to eat at in the Bay Area. If you like food, you’ll find literally every type of food available to you. A cute little European restaurant that we enjoy is Bistro Tupaz

Unless you are specifically looking for Bistro Tupaz, you will likely miss it because it’s not easy to find. It’s located in a suburban neighborhood in a little shopping area. We love Bistro Tupaz because it’s not usually busy but it has great food at fantastic prices. In addition to reasonable prices, which are really difficult to find in the Bay Area, Bistro Tupaz offers a reward program that can give you money toward your meal. The decor is simple, but cute, providing little touches of European flair. If you’d like, you can play board games that are available on the shelves, fun for everyone!

My favorite meal to eat is their shrimp and veggie pappardelle with alfredo sauce. A generous amount of shrimp makes the pasta dish pop. I find the alfredo sauce to be the right consistency and flavor that I like; I am fairly picky about my alfredo. What makes Bistro Tupaz really stand out is the homemade bread. Yum yum in my tum! They make soft bread with the most delicious spreads, including jam. When they place the bread in front of us, it’s gone in a matter of minutes!

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years now, so we are recognized and are greeted with a “Nice to see you both again.” That kind of personal touch is what keeps us coming back, in addition to a variety of dishes that please the palette. Give Bistro Tupaz a try and let me know if you feel the same way about the restaurant that I do!
