Yardbird: Run Chicken Run!

Ahhh, so delicious!

Located in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Yardbird is a place full of southern charm where you can order some of the most delicious food! And that’s saying a lot because Las Vegas’s food game is second to none. By the way, you’ll notice that they have the best website address, www.runchickenrun.com. Ha!

The best green beans I have ever had came from Yardbird. 

Now, you may think that green beans are plain or boring, but not the way that Yardbird made them. These green beans had just enough crunch and were seasoned delightfully well. My husband and I were dancing in our seats! I mean, wow, they were sooooo good!

And the cornbread? The bits of jalapeño and corn added to the amazing texture, along with the melted butter on top. Taking a bite, I felt my stomach smile. Sounds weird, I know, but even though I’m not a cornbread kind of girl, I fell in love with it!

I can’t forget the fried chicken, of course! It came out hot and the outside skin was fried to perfection, for the perfect crisp. Inside, the chicken was tender and flavorful. Oh, it was so, so good!

In case you’re wondering, we did order the macaroni and cheese, which you can see in the photo, but honestly, this was a letdown. I say skip the mac n cheese, and go for the other dishes I mentioned instead.
